Internetwork Time Synchronization of Mobile Ad Hoc Networks

چکیده
Several time synchronous ad hoc networks may operate in the same geographical area. Although network synchronization within an individual has been widely discussed, internetwork relying on sources carry not addressed. Therefore, this paper proposes procedure that allows to use one as a source and share its time, like global navigation satellite system other networks. The runs gateway nodes could be member several networks, it collaborates with algorithms at level. Consequently, generic, robust hybrid protocol analyses performance using sensible metric called mutual consensus. It is shown common achieved limited variance master-slave, distributed or mode. Provided numerical examples illustrate behavior of algorithm confirm theoretical findings.

Interval based time synchronization for mobile ad hoc networks
In this thesis, we make a case for the use of guaranteed intervals for time synchronization in mobile ad-hoc networks. In particular, we look at wireless sensor networks (WSNs), a specific class of mobile ad-hoc networks. WSNs are envisioned to comprise a large number of small, inexpensive devices that operate on a very constrained energy budget. Time synchronization is an important service in ...
متن کاملA Survey of Solutions to Protect Against All Types of Attacks in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks
In recent years mobile networks have expanded dramatically, compared with other wireless networks. Routing protocols in these networks are designed with the assumption that there is no attacker node, so routing protocols are vulnerable to various attacks in these networks. In this paper, we review the network layer attacks and then we simulate the impact of black hole attack on ad hoc on demand...
متن کاملNode Synchronization Based Redundant Routing for Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks
This paper proposes a new on-demand redundant-path routing protocol considering node synchronization based path redundancy as one of route selection criteria. Path redundancy implies how many possible redundant paths may exist on a route to be built up. Our proposal aims to establish a route that contains more redundant paths toward the destination by involving intermediate nodes with relativel...
متن کاملImproving Quality of Service Routing in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks Using OLSR
Mobile ad hoc networks (MANET) are constructed by mobile nodes without access point. Since MANET has certain constraints, including power shortages, an unstable wireless environment and node mobility, more power-efficient and reliable routing protocols are needed. The OLSR protocol is an optimization of the classical link state algorithm. OLSR introduces an interesting concept, the multipoint r...
متن کاملEnergy Efficient Routing in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks by Using Honey Bee Mating Optimization
Mobile Ad hoc networks (MANETs) are composed of mobile stations communicating through wireless links, without any fixed backbone support. In these networks, limited power energy supply, and frequent topology changes caused by node mobility, makes their routing a challenging problem. TORA is one of the routing protocols that successfully copes with the nodes’ mobility side effects, but it do...
